"G" Wines

I am not a true expert when it comes to wine
but I must say that some of my favourites have
been German wines (or as my cousin and I often
refer to it "G" wines). They are just amazing.
Great to the taste not to hard but just right.
I love the light fruity sweet flavours of a great
German wine. Some of the best varieties I have
tried are Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau.
Of course I enjoy red wines as they have some good health
benefits but it's always great to unwind with a nice
white.

Chicken Biryani is another thing I want to try to make very soon. I love the makeup of this dish because you can use lamb, fish or chicken. I think I will opt for the chicken or lamb.
The interesting thing abouout these exotic rice dishes is that they call for so many different ingredients and many of them are very similar. This one reminds me a bit of Spanish paella minus a few bits here and there.
When in Spain I love enjoying a dish of paella and just found this receipe for Cajun Paella with more twist.

Exciting things

I really love to cook and try new things in the kitchen. I still love to have my regular ethnic foods of Mexican and Italian but lately or since living in the UK where there are a cornicopia of restaurants of foods from all over the world. Some of my favourites have been Indian, Turkish, Spanish, Greek and Lebanese.
Recently I was introduced to Moroccan Tangine and I look forward to making one of my own. Sure this one calls for several ingredients but it's well worth the buy. This one reminds me of a breakfast my boyfriend made for me a few months ago. Very exotic and different. Very good.
